
Greene County High School had four students compete at the Iowa High School Speech Association State Individual Contest.
Speech Coach Kelley Gray says three students received straight Division I-ratings from the judges, including Rym Gherari for expository address, Eliot Schilling for literary program and Esther Van Horn for prose. Allee Hinote received a Division II-rating for her poetry piece. Gherari was also nominated by the judges as a performing act at the Iowa High School Speech Association All-State Individual Festival.
The All-State Festival will take place March 28th at the University of Northern Iowa campus.
She performs during session IV from 3-4pm in Lang Hall
