Thursday, March 17th

6:32am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 190th Street.

1:59pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near X Avenue.

4:50pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Scranton Fire, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a semi vs car accident on E Avenue near 290th Street. Caitlyn Day 29 of Paton was traveling North on E Avenue in a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. Samuel Naberhaus 22 of Scranton was east bound on 290th Street in a 1978 Benson semi-tractor and trailer. Samuel failed to stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Caitlyn Day. Caitlyn struck the rear of the trailer causing an estimated 9,000 dollars damage to the vehicle. The semi-trailer had an estimated 50 dollars damage. Two of the occupants of the car were taken to the Greene County Medical Center by personal vehicle with minor injuries. Samuel was cited for failure to stop and failure to yield right of way.

8:10pm: John Mahlberg 27 of Dawson was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
