Portions of the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening are experiencing a wintry mix Friday morning.
According to the National Weather Service, Dallas and Guthrie counties are under a winter weather advisory until 4pm today. This means there could be between 1-4 inches of snowfall, along with upwards of 35 miles per hour winds. The snowfall and higher winds could result in low to no visibility on the roads and the roads could be slippery as you travel through the advisory area.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, portions of the state highways and interstates are partially to mostly covered with snow and slush in Dallas and Guthrie counties. Stay tuned to Raccoon Valley Radio for weather related information and road condition updates.
