With help from grant funding from the State Historical Society, a new program will make its first appearance later this month at the Carnegie Library Museum in Perry.
The “Re-Awakening History Through Our Own Stories,” program will take place as five monthly programs that will look at how living in a small Midwestern town can influence family, education, work, faith and loss. The first program will be from 6-8 p.m. March 29th at the Carnegie Library Museum and will discuss family.
The program is free for anyone to attend and no registration is required. Each monthly program will be facilitated by a member of the Hometown Heritage Board and this month’s program will be presented by Rev. Andrea Brownlee of the First Christian Church in Perry.
