Wednesday, March 16th

1:39am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 100 Block of North Oak Street.

10:41am: Officers arrested Carly Jene Hubby, 43 of Ogden, at 777 Wild Rose Lane. Hubby had an outstanding Felony Arrest Warrant from Boone County for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/Meth.”

1:56pm: Officers investigated an accident at Lincoln Way and Vine Streets. A 2005 Dodge Grand caravan, owned and operated by Shane Kozal of Jefferson, was eastbound in the 100 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. A 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, owned by Maureen Haglund Perry and operated by Mollie Clark of Yale, left the posted Stop Sign at North Vine and Lincoln Way Streets, colliding into the Kozal vehicle. Each vehicle had a reported $5000.00 in damages. Clark was cited for, “Fail to Yield Upon Entering a Highway.”

3:05pm: Officers arrested Floyd William Laxson Jr, 61 of Jefferson, at 611 South Cedar Street. Laxson had an outstanding Jefferson Police Department Arrest Warrant for, “Domestic Abuse Assault- Simple.”

8:04pm: Ashley Hill advised she had caught a Stray Dog in the 600 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The officers were tied up with an arrest and could not respond immediately to the area. When able to respond to the area, the subject was no longer there.

8:04pm: A caller advised of a subject with an active Arrest Warrant was at 508 North Elm Street. The officers arrived and learned the subject had left the business.

8:41pm: Timothy Blake advised he had caught the stray dog in the 100 Block of South Chestnut Street. Officers placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.
