The Jefferson Public Library invites families of young children to a special program later this month.

Family Storytime will take place on Monday, March 21st from 10-11:30am in two locations, including the children’s department and the basement, for newborns through fifth graders. Youth Services Librarian Stephanie Hall says during this event, participants will get to do songs, stories and crafts, and it will also include lots of noise making. She talks about how these programs continue to grow all the time.

“We had eight weeks of storytimes on Wednesdays and those have been just great. This past one, which was our last one, we actually had three new families in, so we had approximately 21 people here. So our storytimes are going pretty well.”

Monday’s program is free and no pre-registration is required.
