Governor Kim Reynolds has issued the disaster proclamation for Adair County after the severe weather on March 5th. 

This proclamation allows state resources to be used to respond from the effects of severe weather in Adair County. The Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and the Disaster Case Management will be available for residents that have incomes that are 200 percent of the federal poverty level. Those qualifying residents can receive grants up to $5,000 for damages to their home, car, clothing, food or temporary housing expenses. Adair County was one of nine counties that received a disaster proclamation from the Governor’s Office. Applicants have 45 days to submit a claim.
