A Jefferson man faces a felony for an alleged abuse incident.

According to the Jefferson Police Department, officers responded to a call for a domestic abuse assault at 9:36pm Friday in the 600 block of West Lincoln Way. During the investigation, the female victim told authorities about the physical assault. Officers found evidence that supported the victim’s claims. 

Twenty-five-year-old Zachary Allen Waters-Rice was arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for domestic abuse assault-impeding air and/or blood flow. Waters-Rice was booked into the Greene County Jail.
