Tomorrow begins the outdoor track & field season for the Greene County boys’ team. Coach Chad Morton plans on taking several events to Cedar Falls for the A.D. Dickinson Relays inside the UNI-Dome.

Senior Nate Black will be making the trip. He’s a State Meet veteran in the shuttle hurdle relay and the high jump and Black talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his track & field goals this season. “For our shuttle hurdle relay team goal we’d like to win state and individually I’d like to place in the top eight in the high jump.” Black will be busy this Spring as he’s also one of the top soccer players for the Rams, who have qualified for the Class 1A State Soccer tournaments the last two year they’ve been held. In addition, he’s an outstanding wrestler and an All-State football player.

The Greene County girls are opening their indoor season today at the Dickinson Relays in Cedar Falls.
