The Midwest Freedom Convoy will be coming through Stuart this afternoon.

According to the Stuart Police Department, the convoy will travel through Interstate-80 around 7 or 8pm this evening. The Freedom Convoy is heading east towards Des Moines. Officials expect a large amount of vehicles and traffic that may cause delays along South Division Street. The Stuart Police encourages residence to use other routes if necessary like Southwest 6th Street  instead of Southwest 7th Street North of Casey’s and to take highway 6 to the Des Moines area.

Those planning on showing support are encouraged not to park on South Division Street or the interstate bridge and to find another bridge that is more suitable.
