After the most recent redistricting process more people are announcing their campaign bids for Iowa House of Representative seats in Dallas County. 

David Young recently announced that he will be campaigning for the Iowa House seat for House District 28. The district includes southwestern West Des Moines and runs through Booneville, Van Meter and up into Adel. 

Young has previous experience as he served as a U.S. Congressman for Iowa’s Third Congressional District from 2015-2019 and prior to that Young served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley from 2006-2013.
