Greene County and surrounding residents are encouraged to attend a meeting that will be led by the Iowa Lieutenant Governor. 

The Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa Connect Task Force will be at RVP~1875 in Jefferson this Wednesday at noon. This 22 member group is focused on expanding broadband and connectivity throughout the state. The Connect Task Force is led by Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg and Sandy Ehrig. Following the panel meeting, the group will tour some of the projects that have been awarded state funding, including Gravitate, the Forge and the Centennial building. 

The meeting is open to the public and no pre-registration is necessary.
