Greene County and Paton-Churdan will be sending several students to compete this Saturday for the Iowa High School Speech Association District Individual contest.

Greene County High School Speech Coach Kelley Gray says eight students, including Ava and Eliot Schilling, Allee Hinote, Olivia Hoyt, Esther Van Horn, Bella Linberg, Rym Gherairi and Nina Cabinanda. The categories they will compete in are Acting, Literary Program, Poetry, Reviewing, Prose and Expository. Allee Hinote is the lone student that is competing in two categories with Poetry and Reviewing.

Paton-Churdan Speech Coach Kellie Henderson tells Raccoon Valley Radio Autumn Consier will compete in Solo Musical Theater and Jimmie Currier for Poetry.
