Guthrie County has reached over 2,500 new COVID-19 positive cases since the pandemic started.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Health as of Monday, Guthrie County has seen an increase of 33 new positive cases since February 16th with 2,536 total positive tests, and a total of 42 deaths. Dallas County has 25,664 total positive tests, for an increase of 845 cases since February 16th, and three new deaths for a total of 132. Greene County has 1,874 total positive tests, for an increase of eight cases in the past seven days, with a total of 19 deaths. Adair County has 1,786 total positive tests, for an increase of 31 cases since February 16th, and two new deaths for a total of 49.
As of Monday, statewide, there are 832,869 total positive tests, and 8,894 deaths.
Additionally, statewide, these are 70 percent of the intensive care unit beds in use. There are 126 Iowa hospitals reporting 401 ICU beds in use and a total of 501 beds.
