The WCV girls basketball team’s season was cut short this past week. Due to a 54-34 loss to Treynor.
The Wildcats had an up and down year but ended at .500, with an 11-11 record. This includes a four game winning streak that ended against the Cardinals. The team was led by Senior Madelyn Jaeger. She was the leading scorer on the team with 383 points. She was also great at getting steals having 62 this season and she managed to have 30 assists. Junior Isabella Munoz was second on the team in scoring putting up 171 points.
The Wildcats season may have been cut short but they managed to put up a great effort. Including having two more wins than they did last year. Plus a postseason upset win over AC/GC.
