The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team is continuing their postseason run tonight as they will be taking on the Van Meter Bulldogs in Stuart.

The Panthers boys have won two straight games in the postseason to put themselves one game away from the state qualifying game. The Panthers boys first took on the West Central Valley Wildcats and won that game by a score of 66-49. The Panthers boys then took on the AC/GC Chargers and won that game by a final score of 59-47 which brings them to this game against the Van Meter Bulldogs.

The Panthers boys have faced off against the Bulldogs just once this season which saw the Bulldogs come away with a 61-47 victory. The Panthers boys will be looking for solid production again from Braylon Dawes who scored 17 points in the first meeting with the Bulldogs. Jared Wasson scored 11 points and Maddox Hammerstrom scored 11 points in the first meeting with the Bulldogs as well.

The winner of tonight’s game will move on to the state qualifying matchup which will be against either the Treynor Cardinals or the Red Oak Tigers and that state qualifying matchup will be played at AC/GC High School on February 26th.

The Panorama Panthers boys basketball will be taking on the Van Meter Bulldogs beginning at 7 p.m. tonight in Stuart. The game will be able to be listened to live on either the KKRF 2 app or online at raccoonvalleyradio.com
