Greene and Boone County ISU Extensions have partnered together to host a newer program for farmers.

The “Soil Testing Interpretations and Recommendations: Maximizing Return on Investment,” will address the profitable management of soil fertility in Iowa, with the ever changing conditions of increased fertilizer input costs and demands for nutrients from higher-yielding crops. Farmers will better understand their current soil nutrient situation and the amount that is needed for their crops. 

The workshop will take place Thursday, February 24th from 9am-12:30pm at the Leonard Good Community Center in Ogden. Contact the Greene County Extension office at 515-386-2138 to sign up.
