A Des Moines chiropractor was recently sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to multiple crimes. 

Sources say Joshua Hanisch was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison for two counts of sexual abuse and a drug charge. Police also charged Hanisch with possession of a controlled substance after serving warrants to his chiropractic business in Des Moines, Ankeny home and a home in Perry. 

As a part of his sentencing Hanisch will also be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life.
