There will be a free concert taking place this weekend in Perry for people to enjoy. 

Perry Fine Arts will be hosting the Central Iowa Jazz Combo beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Perry Performing Arts Center at the Perry High School. Perry Fine Arts Committee Chairperson Cathy Clark  says it’s nice being able to have events again after not being able to hold them due to the ongoing pandemic. 

“We are really excited to be able to have it. If people want to social distance the auditorium is large enough for social distancing. If they want to wear masks they may, it’s not required anymore and it sounds like the weather is going to be wonderful so we hope we have a good turn out for people going to listen to jazz.”

Clark says there is no cost to attend the event but a free will donation is available.
