An executed search warrant resulted in one arrest in Stuart Monday afternoon.

According to the Stuart Police Department, at 2:15pm, officers executed a search warrant at 600 block of Southwest 6th Street in Stuart. Officials say, the suspect was wanted on four charges  that include domestic abuse assault causing impeding air and blood flow, first degree burglary, first degree harassment and willful injury causing bodily injury. When the officers were on scene they noticed the suspects only way of transportation, a bicycle, had left the area. At approximately 2:20pm officers located the suspect hiding in a garage in the 200 block of North Western Street. The suspect, Skeet Wilson Miller was taken into custody without incident.

The Stuart Police Department was assisted by Adair and Guthrie County Sheriff’s Offices, the Iowa State Patrol and the Iowa Department of Transportation.
