
The Perry School Board approved an agreement with Advanced Foodservice Consulting for Perry Elementary at their regular meeting Monday.
The Board approved the agreement which is not to exceed the cost of $2,500 to help identify the current situation and possible updates or expansion. Also, the Board approved updated job descriptions for foodservice positions and also approved the foodservice performance evaluation.
The Board also approved a request to the School Budget Review Committee for funding related to the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program in the amount of $50,589. The Board also approved a drama set builder for $25 per hour and a student teaching agreement with Grandview University for student teachers.
The Board then approved the 2022-23 instructional and extracurricular activity fee schedule with no changes from the schedule from last year and February Return to Learn Plan with changes and current COVID-19 documents.
Finally, the Board approved changes to a policy involving purchasing and bidding to increase amounts for purchases for goods and services without a competitive request for proposals, quotations or bids. Also, the Board approved revisions of board policies and moving the March 14th Board meeting to March 7th.
