Due to winter weather, the Greene County Cattlemen’s Association has rescheduled their banquet and auction to later this week.
President Mick Towers says all proceeds from the evening will go to their projects that they do throughout the year including giving scholarships to graduating seniors.
Last year, the auction brought in over $13,000 with $750 automatically going to the scholarship fund.
It will be at the Jefferson Elks Lodge on Saturday, March 15th starting at 6pm with a social hour followed by a ribeye steak meal served by the Jefferson Does and the trophy auction will end the night.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door.
