If you are looking for things to do this weekend in Perry, the Perry Chamber of Commerce has events going on.

The Chamber is hosting the 19th Annual Chocolate Walk today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says there are 15 businesses that are participating in the event this year for people to visit. Those participating then can enter their ticket to win a prize of a Valentine’s Dinner at the Hotel Pattee. Tickets can be purchased for $10 today at the participating businesses.

“It’s a matter of buying a ticket and going around using that passport to each of the stops to get some complimentary treats and check out to see what’s new in those shops and do a little shopping, maybe Valentine’s Day shopping while you are there.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio the other event that will be taking place today will be the Winter Farmers Market. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Perry Public Library Community Room.

“We have been doing the Winter Farmers Market for a number of years. It’s moved locations a little bit over the years but it’s working so well to do an offseason market at the Perry Public Library.”
