Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball found out about their postseason fate on Wednesday, as the Tigers will be taking on Nevada in first round action at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. The game will be slated for 8 pm on Monday, February 21st.
ADM boys are currently 9-9 on the season and Nevada is 14-5, with the Cubs being 2nd in the Heart of Iowa conference with a 11-2 record. Both teams are athletic across the board and have good scoring across the board for both sides.
The winner of the matchup would go on to play the winner of Dallas Center – Grimes vs. Saydel, with that game being played on Thursday, February 24th at 7 pm. The other side of the bracket will be at Ballard High School with the Bombers to take on Gilbert, and Newton to play Boone. The substate final will be played on Monday, February 28th at Ankeny Centennial High School.
The Tigers still have three games left on their schedule before they get to postseason play, and will wrap up Raccoon River Conference action tomorrow when they take on Carroll in Adel.
