The Guthrie County Extension and Outreach Office is asking residents to sign up for a class to learn more about soil fertility basics.
The“Soil Test Interpretation and Recommendations: Maximizing Return on Investment” class will teach participants how soil testing is done, how different crops respond to soil nutrient levels, how to understand soil management decisions to be a better fertilizer consumer and more.
Participants will have to pre-register by tomorrow with the Guthrie County Extension Office in Guthrie Center with a fee of $40. This event will be hosted at the Coon Rapids American Legion from 1-4:30pm on February 16th and is led by Guthrie County Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt.
