ADM Tigers wrestling competed in the Raccoon River Conference Tournament on Saturday in Carroll, and ADM was able to find a conference champion at 132 pounds, with Aiden Flora winning the division with an impressive performance. ADM as a team was able to finish 6th out of 9 teams with 106 points.
Flora was able to grab three wins on the day winning via a fall 22 seconds into the match in quarterfinal play, and then grabbed a close 6-4 win in semifinal play. In the finals, he took on Ty Solverson out of Boone, as he was able to grab the 7-1 victory to be the champion in his division.
Jake Alexander was also able to grab a second place performance at 113, as he fell 26-11 with a technical fall after winning his first two matches in the tournament. At 145, Ben Smith was able to grab a 3rd place performance overall with a nice day.
The Tigers will be participating in IHSAA 2A sectional 2 next Saturday, as individuals and the team will be looking to take a positive first step into the state tournament.
