The Guthrie County Iowa State Extension and Outreach Office had some recipients for outstanding achievements. 

Krista Downing, Program Director and Mollie Clarke, Youth Coordinator were honored with the Excellence in COVID Recovery award and engaging partnerships that implemented innovation in programming. They received these awards for their program called “Fall Feel Good,” where the extension office delivered bags with items that support mental health. This program went on in 2020 and in 2021 and gave out 200 total bags to farm owners and local businesses. 

ISU Extension and Outreach strives to engage Iowans in research,education, and experiences.
