The midterm caucasus are coming up next week and Greene County has several options for people to participate.
The Greene County Democratic Party will have their caucus at Jefferson City Hall on Monday, February 7th at 7pm. The agenda includes deciding on county platform topics, electing delegates and alternates for the county convention and signing nomination papers ahead of the June Primary election. Masks are required to attend.
The Greene County Republican Party is having its caucus night also on Monday, February at 7pm at several locations across the county. Jefferson Precinct 1 will be at the Greene County Elementary School and Jefferson Precinct 2 will meet at the Greene County Courthouse. The North Precinct will be at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds, the West Precinct will meet at the Scranton Community Center and the East Precinct will be at the Grand Junction Community Center.
The agenda items for the Republican Party caucus includes electing individuals to serve on the central committee, electing delegates and alternates to attend the county convention and decide on platform topics.
