The Stuart Fire Department responded to a structure fire this past Tuesday. 

Stuart Fire Chief Josh Renslow says the fire department responded to a call for a structure fire at approximately 6:30am on Kola Street near Diamondhead Lake.

Renslow says most of the damage was to the unattached garage and it was considered to have significant damage  There were no injuries reported from the incident and the cause of fire was undetermined. 

Stuart Rescue and Dexter Fire Department assisted at the scene.
