Dallas Center – Grimes wrestlers were on the mat for Little Hawkeye Conference play on Thursday night against Newton, with hopes of finding a victory. The Mustangs were able to do just that, defeating the Cardinals by the team score of 68-6.

As a team, DCG was only able to lose two matches on the night as they were able to pick up 10 falls and one technical fall as DCG was able to work quickly and efficiently throughout the evening. Ayden Beck, Lane Nelson, and Ty Nash were all able to record their falls in under a minute, dominating from the beginning.

DCG will be competing in their conference meet tomorrow at Oskaloosa, with the event to have a start time of 10 am.
