A local organization is offering a course to help workers transition to working in a remote setting. 

Dallas County Extension is offering the Remote Work Certificate Course from February 7th and running until March 4th. The class is all online and consists of approximately 30 hours of work including nine self-paced modules and four interactive workshops. The cost is $249. 

The deadline to register to take the course is February 2nd. Class requirements include internet access, a web camera and microphone and basic computer proficiency. The workshops will be done on Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. or 7-8 p.m.
