Greene County and surrounding residents are invited to a free concert tonight in Jefferson.
“Dig it! The Music of the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s” will feature music of those three decades, which is a take from an exhibit of various items from those same decades that were donated by Greene County residents and on display at the Historical Museum in Jefferson.
The musicians feature Jefferson native Tanner Taylor on keyboard, Heath Pattschull on saxophone and guitar, Kevin King on guitar, Todd Mason on electric and stand-up bass, as well as drummers Joe LeValley, Tim Hammett and Tim Crumley.
The concert takes place at History Boy Theatre at 7pm. Concessions will be served and attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages. The historical society is encouraging everyone to wear a mask, but not requiring it. The sponsors of the event are Jefferson Telecom, Bett & Bev’s BBQ, Deal’s Orchard and Chuck Offenburger’s website offenburger.com.
