AC/GC girls basketball is on pace to break a school record they set last year.

The Lady Chargers had a school record of 12 wins last year and continues to win this year. AC/GC girls basketball currently has nine wins and sits in fourth place in the West Central Activities Conference with five games left. Coach Brad Baudler says he doesn’t want his group to look ahead and continue playing hard every game.

“What we want to get to as a program is to be one of the top teams in our conference and in the state, that’s the ultimate goal. So gaining excitement, gaining that respect from other teams is what we want. So yeah, it’s exciting that we’re, you know, we already have (nine) wins, but we still have a lot of things that we still have to take care of business and we still have to win some tough games.”

The Lady Chargers will have a tough task ahead playing top ranked Panorama at home on Friday. This game will be broadcasted live on KKRF-2 and on Raccoon Valley Radio.com
