The City of Stuart recently released their audit report from the 2021 fiscal year..
The receipts from the report totaled just over $10.6 million, a 56-percent increase from the previous year. The increase in receipts were due to an increase in bond issues during the fiscal year ending in June 2021. Disbursements were just over $11 million, a 131-percent increase from the previous year. The increase in disbursements is due to the payment to the bond refunding agents during the last fiscal year.
