Additional  charges have been filed against a Jefferson man following an officer-involved shooting in Adair County on December 29th.

According to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, three more charges have been filed against Charles R Bradshaw II including attempted murder of a peace officer, a Class B Felony; intimidation with a dangerous weapson, a Class C Felony; and assault on a police officer, a Class D Felony.

Bradshaw was initially charged with two felonies for felon in possession of a firearm, eluding, along with several traffic violations for an incident that involved Bradshaw  allegedly firing shots after a vehicle chase with the Stuart Police Department that ended in Adair County. Adair County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Armstrong fired back at Bradshaw, hitting him in his arms. Armstrong has since been placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
