Dallas Center – Grimes wrestling returned to the mat after their holiday break, and they were able to pick up a pair of wins over Grinnell 69-6 and over ADM 64-12 while falling to Carlisle 35-27.

Mustang wrestling was able to come out strong out of the gate in the new year, as they were able to put together nice stretches of wrestling. The competition was strong throughout the day, but multiple wrestlers were able to pick up multiple victories on the day, as they were able to get back into the swing of things following the long break.

For Mustang wrestling, they will be making a trip out east to Benton Community schools tomorrow for a tournament as they will look for a strong showing against good competition. The tournament is expected to start at 8 am.
