Tuesday, December 28th

1:35am: An officer located an Open Door at 507 West Wall Street. The officer secured the business after finding all okay inside.

6:04am:A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Street resulted in Jeffrey Brant of Carroll being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

6:36am: An officer was enroute to 200 American Ave. to check on a Fire Alarm Activation. The officer was advised the business was checking the system and all was fine there.

8:11am: Ron Mahoney reported a subject in the neighborhood off the 600 Block of South Locust Street, who is constantly burning lumber in his yard. The officer spoke to the resident and advised him the ordinances prohibit burning anything other than yard waste.

10:09am: Public Works reported a dump truck parked near the brush pile at Daubendiek Park and no one was around. The officer eventually had the vehicle towed to Impound.

11:25am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

11:57am: An officer began a Theft Investigation at 1000 West Washington Street. A resident is missing $160.00 in cash. The officer is investigating.

5:22pm: An officer assisted deputies with a Domestic call at 636 S. Avenue in Paton.

5:36pm: Jean Minors reported a neighbor driving through her yard at 303 North Chestnut Street.
