Tuesday, December 28th
9:10am: The Sheriff assisted with a medical call in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.
12:06pm: A deputy investigated a report of a vehicle hitting a hawk on 220th Street near T Avenue.
2:28pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.
3:09pm: A deputy investigated a report of a fire west of Rippey. The fire was a reported controlled burn.
4:37pm: A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
5:15pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 600 block of S Avenue.
6:04pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on N Avenue near 170th Street.
6:50pm: The Sheriff investigated an alarm in the 300 block of Main Street, Rippey.
Wednesday, December 29th
2:54am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on W Avenue and 230th Street. Christopher Cerwick 58 of Fort Dodge was operating a 2020 Mack Semi pulling a load of hogs. The trailer tires fell into the ditch pulling the entire truck and trailer over onto its side. The estimated damage to the Mack semi was around 50,000 dollars and the estimated damage to the trailer was around 25,000 dollars. The driver was not injured.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
