Miles Kading is the son of Coach Kading and is having already having a fantastic start to his senior year scoring the ball and making hustle plays like rebounding and assisting. Coach Lance Kading tells Raccoon Valley Radio what its like to coach his son.
“You know, it’s always fun, you get to watch them grow and be a part of it, but you know, it’s a special bond with your son, but it’s also, you know, all the other kids I coached you, I kind of feel like they’re kind of sons by extension. So pretty lucky.”
Coach Kading explains further the growth Miles has made on the basketball court.
“His role has just grown a little bit each year, but you know, the one thing he’s always had a real high basketball IQ and done a good job taking care of the ball as assist to turnover ratio. One of the best in the conference.
