The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team has gotten off to a fantastic start to the season so far and there has been some key contributing factors.

The Panthers girls are currently sitting at 9-o so far this season after stringing together impressive wins before hitting Christmas break. The Panthers are also currently ranked 4th in Class 2A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Looking at the stats so far this season for the Panthers girls shows an impressive defense as they are only giving up 25 points per game on average while scoring an impressive 64 points per game. Defensively the Panthers girls are averaging almost 25 steals per game.

For individual scoring there are many contributors including Payton Beckman who is averaging 20 points per game, Tyme Boettcher is averaging 11 points per game, Angel Poldberg is contributing 9 points per game and Jaidyn Sellers is averaging 7 a night among many other contributors.

In terms of leaders in categories in the West Central Activities Conference Panorama girls lead in multiple categories including total points, assists, steals with Panorama holding the top five spots, field goals made, field goal attempts and percentage, three pointers made, free throws made and free throw percentage.

The Panorama Panthers girls basketball team will continue to enjoy their holiday season break before they look to come back firing on all cylinders once again when they take the court in the new year against the Pleasantville Trojans beginning at 6 p.m. January 4th in Pleasantville.
