Greene County came out ready to go in the second half Friday night, connecting on six of their first seven shots in opening up a double digit lead and defeating Perry 60-40 in Heart of Iowa action. Richard Daughtery and Jesse Miller paced the Rams with the inside-outside combination proving to be too much for Perry. The Rams opened up a 27 point lead only to see Perry shrink it down to 13 early in the fourth quarter. The Bluejays had five possessions to close it down even closer but failed to convert before the Rams pulled away late. The game was physical in the second half with 29 free throws shot between the two teams. Geren Kenney led Perry with 10 points. The Bluejays fall to 0-6 and will travel to ADM Monday night.
