Adel-DeSoto-Minburn  boys and girls basketball had a Raccoon River Conference game against Boone on Friday night on the road, and they were able to take away a couple of wins, with the boys winning a nail biter 46-45 and the girls able to cruise in their game 67-49. ADM boys improve to 3-4 and the girls move to 3-6.

For ADM boys, they were able to survive a tough game as they were able to lead for nearly the entire night. Free throws proved to be key down the stretch, as they got a pair of key ones from Junior Bennett Holmberg and one from sophomore Adam Bryte as they were able to get a final stop to seal the game. Holmberg with able to lead the team with 17 points on the night, as they play well on the defensive end and were able to hit just enough shots down the stretch.

The girls game in averaging 38 points per game and put up a season high in their performance, as they lead by double figures throughout the entire second half. Junior forward Nicole Storck was able to put up one of her finest performances of the season with 25 points on the night.
