The local community band in Greene County will be performing a pair of holiday-themed concerts this weekend.

The Town and Country Band will play a variety of Christmas music, including “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with Jefferson resident Jeff Lamoureux narrating, “Tube Christmas” featuring Wes Anderson, and “Silent Night” with Renaye Lindgren on piano and Tori Riley on flute, and Wayne Lautner on trumpet. The community band will also perform “Christmas Village” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

The first concert will be at 7pm tonight at the First Baptist Church in Churdan and the second concert will be tomorrow at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson at 3pm. Both concerts are free and open to the public, but free-will donations will be accepted
