The Panora P.E.T.S. animal shelter is teaming up with AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport for a fundraiser this April to help raise money to assist more dogs and cats in the local area.
The fundraiser is called “Painting for Paws,” and will begin at 1pm on Sunday, April 20th at the OverTime Neighborhood Hub for Sports And Grub in Urbandale. Cost for participation is $40 per person and registration is limited to the first 50 people who sign up and pay online.
Panora P.E.T.S. has also begun an online fundraiser to ask area residents for help paying the medical bills associated with one of the shelter’s foster dogs who recently had an emergency C-Section. Zoey the Schnauzer, who the shelter only assumed care of two weeks ago, had seven puppies in total Sunday, and P.E.T.S. says donations to her cause will also be used to take care of those puppies.
