A parking lot was recently redone in the Southeast corner of the Guthrie County Courthouse.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says that the public parking lot is bigger with more spaces for motorists to park. Arganbright reminds residents of a couple of things.
“Everyone needs to just have some patience when they park and be careful when you pull in and when you back out.”
He says the lines on the parking lot have not been painted yet and that won’t happen until next spring when the weather is warmer. According the Courthouse the old parking lot had drainage problems and the total cost to re do the parking lot was $60,000.
