Greene County head wrestling coach Zach Beekman talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the start of practice, which began on Monday of this week. “I feel really good about where we’re at. Even for the first day of practice, you know there are some nuances you go through in trying to teach terminology and the way I call things out, and different moves that we might use during a warmup session or something. Just trying to go through all those takes time, so it kind of slows down the pace of practice a little bit. But I was thoroughly impressed with practice even on day one.”

The Rams return quite a of varsity experience among the 22 wrestlers out. The season opens on Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Van Meter vs. the host Bulldogs, the Ogden Bulldogs, and the PCM (Monroe) Mustangs.
