Monday, November 15th

1:25am: Natalie Tayan requested a Welfare Check on a female in Jefferson. He was unsure of her address, but provided a name. The officer determined the female’s address and spoke to her and a parent. The female was fine and needed no assistance.

3:16am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Oakland resulted in Keilah Williams of GA. Being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

9:30am: Cody Todd spoke with an officer concerning his son being assaulted at school by another student. Todd did not feel the school had handled the situation properly. The officer has spoken with the school, who is still investigating the issue.

11:40am: Oly’s Corner reported a Gas Drive Off in the amount of $26.61. The officer has identified the subject from video and is working to reach them and advise them to return to the business and pay for the fuel.

12:32pm: A DHS Worker advised an officer that an investigation has begun concerning a child being sexually assaulted in Jefferson several years ago. The officer will assist DHS with the investigation.

1:59pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 900 Block of West State Street.

3:18pm: An officer arrested John Taylor Roberts, 23 of Jefferson, at 901 West State Street. Roberts had an Outstanding Fail to Appear Charge out of Cass County.

3:55pm: Fudges Flowers reported a possible Phone Scam Purchase at 120 East State Street. The officer advised the business to end the transaction of a flower purchase, who also wanted the business to purchase several Gift Cards. The business did not incur a loss.

7:00pm: An officer assisted a deputy near Kirkwood and 230th. A subject was reported to be walking on the train tracks with a flashlight. A subject was located in the area looking for loose cattle.

8:27pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane.

9:51pm: Officers were advised a juvenile female had not returned home and had not been seen since she left for school. The officer entered the subject into NCIC as a Missing Person. Perry PD was advised, as it was believed the female may be in Perry.
