With the new redistricting map coming out, State Representative Ray Sorensen  has to say goodbye to some of his constituents. 

Sorensen says with the new map coming out he will no longer represent Guthrie and Cass Counties and will gain constituents in Madison, Union and Clarke Counties. Sorensen tells Raccoon Valley Radio what he thinks about Iowa’s redistricting process.

“Overall our redistricting is the absolute gold standard. Obviously I believe other states should look at how we do it and not only that the federal government.”

Sorenson says he is planning on running again in House District 23 and is excited to start knocking on doors and starting his campaign.
