With the conclusion of the season for the Panorama Panthers volleyball team that means some of the players have played their last matches with the Panthers.

The Panthers volleyball team finished out their year with an overall record of 7-21 on the season and advancing all the way to the Class 2A Region 3 Quarterfinal match where they took on the Southwest Valley Timberwolves losing by a score of 3-0.

This season the Panthers had six seniors on their team which included Grace Webner, Carley Van Gundy, Angel Poldberg, Jasmarie Flanery, Mollie Monthei and Andrea Hammer who played their last season for the Panorama Panthers volleyball team.

Panorama Panthers Head Volleyball Coach Joanne Sandage says with the seniors playing their last matches for the Panthers they do have players that will be able to step into the roles that will be left open after the outgoing senior class.

“Some of those juniors are just going to step right in. I don’t think we will miss a beat for next year.”

Sandage tells Raccoon Valley Radio even though this season marked the end of Panorama Panthers volleyball for some players those players will always have a connection to the program.

“Anytime you are a part of the program you are always going to be a part of that program. You helped build it, you have a stake in it and I see some of our past volleyball players come to games. Once you are a part of the program I feel like you are always going to be a part of the program.”

The Panorama Panthers volleyball team will look to head back out on the court next season and compete once again and look to improve on their season from this year.
