The Jefferson Police Department is seeking the public’s help with an investigation.

Officers responded to a theft incident at Jefferson Hy-Vee Wednesday. Captain Jason Kroeger tells Raccoon Valley Radio the suspect stole a bottle of alcohol. Surveillance video has been obtained and released. Kroeger says the suspect is described as a white male that was wearing a blue coat and an orange and black backpack. Photos of the suspect are included in this story.
